Booking Information
- Daily rates commence upon our client’s arrival at the airport of collection, and terminate on the agreed-upon concluding date of the hunting safari.
- A deposit is required for booking confirmation. The balance is payable in full before the last day of the safari. No exceptions.
- All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are transferable or may be rolled over. In the event of a rolled-over deposit, Lex Strauss Safaris agrees to adhere to the original agreement, provided that the re-booking does not exceed a timespan of twelve months from the date of the original booking.
- We recommend that our clients make provision for trip cancellation insurance.
- Cash, Electronic Bank Transfers, PayPal and all major credit cards with a 3% bank charge are acceptable forms of payment.
- Lex Strauss Safaris will liaise with your banking institution, before your safari, to ensure that final payments are hassle free.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Package Include
• Pick-up and drop off at the nearest airport to camp in the area in which you will be hunting unless prior special arrangements have been made.
• 15% Government Tax.
• Hunting license fees.
• Services of an experienced and qualified Professional Hunter with a well-equipped four-wheel-drive vehicle and a tracker.
• Complete support crew of camp staff, trackers, skinners and chefs.
• Safari camps and accommodation, ranging from comfortable country hunting camps to luxurious safari lodges.
• All land transportation while on safari.
• All meals, selected drinks and wines.
• Field preparation of trophies.

• International and Domestic flights.
• Hard tack alcohol such as Whiskey, brandy etc.
• Shipping and Taxidermy.
• Firearms and ammunition. Rifle Hire $35 per Day.
• Hotel accommodation before and after hunt, if required.
• Provincial transfers if required unless prior special arrangements have been made.
• Baiting fees where required.
• Local shopping trips to town.
• Gratuities for safari staff and Professional Hunters.
• Meals and liquor outside of camps and hunting areas.
• Personal expenses ex Tips, souvenirs etc.

Rhino Hunt Package
Join us at Lex Strauss Hunting Safaris for an extraordinary 7-day rhino hunt set in the majestic Free State or Northern Cape Provinces of South Africa. This exclusive package offers you the rare opportunity to hunt a rhino bull under 22 inches, with options to upgrade bull sizes for an enhanced experience. The Lodging comprises of luxurious lodges with AC, Swimming pools, Electricity and Wi-Fi. The Hunting area is a fenced 4500 ha (11 000Acre) reserve that is 7 hours’ Drive from OR Tambo airport, a 2 hour charter flights can be arranged at an additional fee.

Elephant Hunt Package
Due to the location and logistics involved, the camp is a very basic bush camp with electricity, the hunting is tough and clients should prepare themselves to walk many miles in search of Africa’s Giants. There is no Size Limit on the elephants and hunters can expect to take a bull of around 40 pounds.
In the unlikely case that a bull is not successfully hunted, the hunter will be charged a fee of $1,500 per day daily rate to cover the running costs and logistics of the safari.

Hippo – $10,000
Crocodile – $8,000
Leopard – $20,000
Elephant Non Trophy – $20,000

Leopard Hunt Package
Due to the location and logistics involved, the camp is a very basic bush camp with electricity, the hunting is tough and clients should prepare themselves to walk many miles in search of Africa’s Giants. There is no Size Limit on the elephants and hunters can expect to take a bull of around 40 pounds.
In the unlikely case that a Leopard is not successfully hunted, the hunter will be charged a fee of $1,500 per day daily rate to cover the running costs and logistics of the safari.
