Lex Strauss, founder, and owner of Lex Strauss Safaris has been operating as one of South Africa’s most highly skilled and respected Professional Hunters for the past twelve years.
Born in 1990, Lex spent much of his life hunting, fishing, and exploring with his family in Africa’s vast wilderness.
Naturally, a career in Nature Conservation followed and he graduated as a Professional Hunter in 2010.
In 2015 Lex went on to obtain his Outfitters License as well as his Dangerous Game License.
Under the guidance of some of South Africa’s top outfitters, Lex was able to hone his hunting skills as well as gain instrumental experience in running top hunting outfits.
Ralf Abbas, who has a passion for dangerous game, joined the Lex Strauss Safaris family in 2022 as our European Partner and Professional Hunter.
Ralf’s forty years of hunting experience in Europe, Canada, North Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Scotland and Africa, as well as his ability to communicate with clients in their mother tongue, have made him a valued asset to our company. Ralf has a passion for dangerous game hunting and is a registered professional Hunter in South Africa.
